abstract ag is a Swiss-based AEC technology company headquartered in Basel. We develop cloud-based data governance, pipeline, and automation tools designed to bridge the gaps between architects, engineers, and real estate owners. Our mission is to automate information validation, eliminate data loss at project handoffs, and make built-world data entirely reliable from the first requirement to the final asset lifecycle decision.
Traditional BIM coordination tools focus on 3D geometry and clash detection. abstract shifts the focus to data integrity, semantic governance, and workflow automation. We operate as a cloud-based data pipeline that processes IFC and BIM models through the lens of data science—converting geometry, spatial relationships, and parameters into structured, queryable information ready for ERP, CAFM, and custom APIs.
Our product family forms a modular pipeline: define requirements, produce clean model data, review deliverables, and act on insights across your organization. Each product works independently, but together they cover the full AEC data lifecycle from first brief to operational asset.
